A little extra planning can mean everything when you’re in a new setting! Take Advantage of Natural Light – Natural light can be your best friend on-location! For that soft, golden glow, shoot during golden hour (right after sunrise or before sunset). If you’re shooting at midday, use shady areas for even lighting or bring a reflector to control harsh shadows. Make sure you have a flash with you that you can use off camera for additional support if needed! Pack Your Essentials – Always bring backup batteries, memory cards, and any special gear you might need like reflectors, a tripod, or extra lenses. And don’t forget weather-appropriate supplies—an umbrella, blankets, or towels can make a big difference if things get messy!
