Downtown Raleigh Alliance reposted this
A #NightOnTheTown on Fayetteville Street in downtown Raleigh on Saturday night. Fayetteville Street has been the heartbeat of downtown and the City of Raleigh since 1792. It has been through its cycles and is about to prove its resilience once again. First stop was Foundation, a craft cocktail bar since 2000, and then across the street to the newly delivered Birdie's Barroom & Kitchen for dinner. Highwoods Properties is making it happen at its new investment in 150 Fayetteville Street, the former Wells Fargo Tower. Birdie's is a key element transitioning this former bank tower built in 1990 into an exciting destination for its tenants and the community. As the concept of amenity-rich office spaces gains momentum to combat the trend of #WorkFromHome, Highwoods and LM Restaurants have hit the mark with this innovative dining spot, a former old-school deli. Transitioning traditional office buildings into dynamic spaces is the way forward, and this new restaurant exemplifies this progressive approach.
