Although government administrations come and go, what remains clear is the current EV revolution is here to stay. With critical infrastructure and investments already in motion—the EV adoption is still on track to outpace ICE vehicles by 2030. Providing #EVcharging and cutting-edge software with reliability to match is an in-between the political aisle issue. https://hubs.ly/Q02_3FcG0

A recent study by Frost & Sullivan found that more mixed-energy #fleets will be seen on the roads in the coming years. According to the researchers, 80% of fleet managers already incorporating a mix of internal combustion engine and #ElectricVehicles into their operations intend to have at least 25% of their fleet become electric by 2030. Almost 50% of fleet managers anticipate EVs will make up half or more of their fleet by then. Prioritizing the buildout of more #EVCharging infrastructure and managing it with tailored charging software is a direct path for meeting these anticipated demands. https://hubs.ly/Q02ZVX-l0

Electric vehicles are a key part of the energy transition and can support the integration of more renewable energy. By using advanced energy management tools and vehicle-to-grid technology, EVs are not only a solution for clean transportation, but can also store energy and feed it back into the grid. The transition to renewable energy is critical. The rapid #Electrification of mobility, paired with the rollout of renewable energy generation, could result in health benefits valued between $84-188 billion in the U.S. by 2050, according to a recent study done by The University of Toronto’s Department of Civil & Mineral Engineering. Researchers found that even with less aggressive grid decarbonization efforts, health benefits from incorporating more #EVs and renewable energy sources could result in tens of billions of dollars from improved air quality. https://hubs.ly/Q02XHrVp0

Interesting read from Fast Company. The future of #EVcharging in gas stations and convenience stores.
While there is a lot of talk of EV sales slowing down in the US if incentives go away, we still have a big gap in EV charging infrastructure that needs to be deployed to keep up with current demand. The future of EV charging in the United States will be heavily influenced by our existing footprint of gas station convenience stores. We can expect these sites to continue to add great amenities as the adapt. Great coverage by Patrick Sisson on this topic. #driivz https://lnkd.in/gm9j3fNz
