About us
e4usa provides a standardized educational curriculum for pre-college students to learn and demonstrate engineering principles, skills and practices. The curriculum incorporates an authentic, design-based experience and affords students the opportunity to earn college credit at participating colleges and universities. The course, Engineering for US All (e4usa), empowers, engages, and excites students to use what they know and find what they are passionate about to take control and boldly influence the world. Empowerment is built through an awareness of engineering in everyday life, the diversity of engineers, and by interrogating and emphasizing how engineering is embedded in society. Engagement occurs as students practice engineering design at multiple scales, considering local and global engineering design challenges. e4usa generates excitement as students are provided opportunities to design and create solutions in authentic, student-centered product development challenges. e4usa invites all schools, teachers, and students to fully participate regardless of their technical background or preparation. The mission of engineering for US All (e4usa) encompasses both students and teachers. Paramount to the success of e4usa is the construction and delivery of professional learning (PL) experiences to prepare and support teachers with different levels of engineering training instruction as they implement the course. Teachers are introduced to the curriculum and inclusive classroom practices through a structured Summer PD and year-round PL that involve hands-on teaching and learning experiences that enhance teachers’ confidence and requisite skills to teach engineering design.

🌟 Join Us in Making Engineering Accessible for All! 🌟 As we close out 2024, Engineering for US All (e4usa) is launching our Engineering Access for Everyone fundraising campaign, aiming to raise $25,000 to expand our operations and recruit new partners and schools. At e4usa, we believe that engineering is a field for everyone, regardless of background or experience. Our program is designed to remove traditional barriers, offering three engaging courses that inspire high school students to explore the world of engineering: e4usa+Making: Contextualizes math and science as tools for creative problem-solving. e4usa+Programming: Introduces the fundamentals of software development and design. e4usa+Design: A collaborative, project-based course that empowers students to engineer solutions for real community needs. Our mission goes beyond just teaching engineering; we’re fostering a diverse culture of innovation that reflects the richness of our society. To achieve our goals, we need your support! While we have existing grants for teacher sponsorships and curriculum development, we are seeking unrestricted funding to sustain our team and expand our reach. 👉 Here’s how you can help: Donate: Every contribution, big or small, brings us closer to our goal. Spread the Word: Share this campaign with your network to help us reach more supporters. Together, we can create a future where engineering is accessible, affordable, and inclusive for everyone.
