The Lucas County Corrections Center, built in 1977, just replaced their existing Trane chillers with state-of-the-art Daikin Applied Americas Magnitude magnetic-bearing chillers. These two oil-free 250-ton dual compressor chillers will provide the county with improved performance, reliability and lower maintenance costs. Oh...and Daikin WMCs are up to 40% more efficient than standard centrifugal chillers, saving millions of dollars of taxpayer money over the life of the machines.
