We are feeling energized as the ISSA - International Step by Step Association’s Annual Conference kicks off. Over the next two days, we look forward to exploring what it takes to transform systems that impact our youngest children, and diving into the transformative work of colleagues from across Europe and Central Asia, as well as others who have joined from around the world. #ISSA2024

We are excited to share that the Van Leer Foundation has joined the Steering Committee of the Early Childhood Regional Networks Fund.   🌐 The ECRN Fund is a collective philanthropic initiative dedicated to strengthening networks that champion early childhood development worldwide. By investing in these networks, we enable a wider chain of impact—extending from the organisations involved to the communities, families, and young children they serve in 100+ countries.   As part of this pooled fund, we are proud to collaborate with our peers from the Oak Foundation, Porticus, Open Society Foundations, The Human Safety Net and the Two Lilies Fund. At the end of May, we held our Annual Meeting at the Asia-Pacific Regional Network for Early Childhood (ARNEC)'s Regional Conference for ECD in Penang, Malaysia. We've just wrapped up our Annual Meeting alongside the Asia-Pacific Regional Network for Early Childhood (ARNEC)'s Regional Conference for Early Childhood Development in Penang, Malaysia. 🇲🇾 Through our sessions, we've gained new perspectives on how to engage fathers and men in the earliest years of a child's life, and we've explored the ways that national and regional ECD networks catalyse action to drive impact in policy and practice.
