  • K12 models haven’t changed since they were put in place over a century ago. As global borders blur, K12 schools continue to operate in silos. At the same time, the world is changing, industry now includes cryptocurrencies and space tech. Do our schools have what it takes to keep up? Will the children who graduate from them be able to operate in this new world with confidence? Our founder Sneha believes that "knowledge brings confidence.” We help children develop the right skills that go beyond just knowing a subject. What is critical thinking, and how do you communicate concisely? How do you agree and disagree with people who are different from you? These are the skillsets we have systematically added to the curriculum. The idea is to make education relevant, useful and engaging – a system that is fun for the two billion school children worldwide. Most kids don’t enjoy the process of learning and we need to change this. It’s not just about the bells and whistles of wanting to do something, it’s about making the process itself fun and engaging for kids. And that's what we aim to do at Early Steps!

  • Valentine’s Day is celebrated in honor of Saint Valentine, but the origins of the holiday are wrapped in legend. One of the most popular stories dates back to ancient Rome. Saint Valentine was a priest during the reign of Emperor Claudius II, who had banned marriages for young men, believing that single soldiers fought better than those with families. Valentine defied this decree and secretly performed weddings for young couples. When the emperor discovered this, Valentine was imprisoned and eventually sentenced to death. While in prison, Valentine is said to have befriended the jailer’s blind daughter. Some legends even say he miraculously restored her sight. Before his execution on February 14th, he left her a note signed “From your Valentine,” a phrase that lives on today. Over time, Valentine’s Day evolved from a day of martyrdom to a celebration of love, kindness, and connection. It is much more than just chocolates and roses—it’s about love in all its forms. And what greater love is there than the love of learning? This #VDay, let’s celebrate every bond, whether it’s with people or the lessons that shape us forever. ❤️. #ValentinesDay #LoveOfLearning

  • Graduated college at age 14 and landed a role at SpaceX at 16 - Meet Kairan Quazi. At 16 years old, Kairan Quazi has already achieved more than most could imagine, - graduating college at 14, - interning in cyber intelligence at 13, - landing a role as a SpaceX engineer before he could legally drive. But behind the headlines is a story of curiosity, resilience, and an unwavering belief in breaking barriers. As a child, Kairan was fascinated by big questions. He would challenge adults on politics, science, and ethics before he was even in middle school. His parents, recognizing his insatiable curiosity, never censored his learning—allowing him to dive into any topic, no matter how complex. At 9 years old- while most kids were playing with Legos Kairan was starting college, tackling advanced math and engineering courses. By 14- he walked across the stage as Santa Clara University ‘s youngest-ever graduate, all while still enjoying video games, tennis, and cracking jokes with his friends. Despite his accomplishments, Kairan’s path wasn’t easy. Many recruiters dismissed him—not because of his skills, but because of his age. He heard things like “How will adult employees feel working with a 14-year-old?” But Kairan refused to be defined by a number. With persistence, he aced SpaceX’s notoriously tough interview process, completing a four-hour technical challenge in under two hours. At Early Steps Academy, we believe that learning has no limits. Like Kairan, many young minds are ready to explore, create, and lead—if only given the chance. His journey reminds us that potential should never be measured in years but in passion and capability. Here’s to celebrating young trailblazers, rethinking education, and ensuring every child gets the chance to dream fearlessly.
