The East Tennessee Compensation Association (ETCA) was founded in 1992 as an opportunity for Human Resources professionals in the greater East Tennessee area to network and share best practices in compensation, employee benefits, and work-life disciplines — what we refer to as Total Compensation. In an effort to broaden our audience and reflect the diversity of our programs, the name of our group was changed in 2004 to the East Tennessee Compensation and Benefits Association (ETCBA). We are excited to welcome Samantha Pritchett to ETCBA's board as Secretary. An enthusiastic runner, dog lover, and dedicated student, Samantha is currently an HR Intern at EdFinancial Services in Knoxville. She is pursuing her Master of Science in Management and Human Resources at The University of Tennessee, Knoxville, with an expected graduation in July 2025. Samantha has developed her HR skills through diverse experiences, including internships and roles at Lululemon and Amazon Fulfillment. With a passion for people and organizational success, she aims to align HR strategies with business goals, creating a supportive and thriving work environment. Samantha also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and plans to obtain certifications in SHRM and CAPM in 2025.

ETCBA is thrilled to welcome our new Membership Chair, Mollie Zigelnik, to our board. Meet Mollie, a proud mom of four amazing sons, a dog lover, and a golf enthusiast. She holds the position of Principal and Client Relationship Manager in Mercer's Health business, located in Knoxville, Tennessee. For over 16 years, Mollie has excelled in various areas including public relations, benefits consulting and relationship management, always making her clients her most valued asset. In her role, Mollie leverages her extensive expertise to align the right people, tools and resources that Mercer has to offer. By doing so, she plays a pivotal role in assisting clients in advancing their health and overall benefits programs, ultimately contributing to the success and well-being of their organizations. Mollie is a graduate of Central Missouri State University, where she earned a BS with a major in public relations. Additionally, she pursued her passion for effective communication by completing minors in speech communications and marketing. She is also a licensed Life and Health agent.
