We're honored to host an impactful panel, moderated by our president and COO Quincy Miller, at our February Town Hall, continuing our commitment to Black History and community empowerment. This year, we welcomed: Jacquetta Van Zandt (She/Her/Hers), Vice President of Engagement at The Partnership, Inc., a dedicated political strategist advocating for women of color, pay equity, and increasing diversity in legislation. Jacquetta’s work has been instrumental in electing diverse leaders and shaping policies that address the needs of communities of color. Carlos Monteiro, PhD, a scholar and advocate whose research in criminal justice focuses on racial disparities, corrections, and reentry. Carlos works with local organizations to address violence in Boston's communities of color and advocates for policies that improve educational access and reduce criminal justice inequities. Imari Paris Jeffries Ph.D., Executive Director of Embrace Boston, a leader in driving racial and economic justice through initiatives like the Embrace Memorial and Embrace Center. Imari works tirelessly to honor the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., while advocating for systemic change and serving on multiple influential boards and commissions focused on empowering the Black community. Thank you to our Black Professionals Alliance Co-Chairs Trillet Robinson & Jason Solomon and our guest panelists for their continued efforts in creating a more inclusive and just future for the Black community. #BlackHistoryMonth
