Fueling and engaging with the future stars of the trades industry again today! Our Training Center and Training team played host to one more group. We enjoyed our conversations and time with the Whittier Regional Vocational Technical High School plumbing and hvac students, showing them around our space, and showcasing the opportunities available to them in the energy business!

Dust off those rubber ducks and settle in for a relaxing or fun soak to take the chill off these cool days because it’s National Bubble Bath Day today! The soapy bubbles of these foaming baths are luxurious, ideal for pampering yourself after a hard day or adding more fun to clean up time with the kids. Showers may be convenient, quick, and easy, but you can’t relax as well standing up, and everybody deserves a little me-time now and then. A hot bubble bath will relax your muscles, refresh your skin, and help with any congestion you might have, tis the season for sick season right now, right?... We have had such a great time hosting trade students to start 2025! Today was another field trip day for our Training Center and Training team, and we were honored to host 28 more students from Essex North Shore Agricultural & Technical School all pursuing the plumbing track at the school. The future is bright!

We started our week this week, the same way we ended last week, by hosting a group of students from another local Tech school at our Training Facility! Today’s group was again a group of mostly sophomores all enrolled in the HVAC track of their school. Our Technical Trainers, Mike and Ryan, spent time giving them a tour of all our equipment and giving them time to get a little hands on to see all that #propane can do to fuel homes and businesses in New England. Then of course, we made time for pizza to make sure they left fueled for the rest of the day! We have the #FridayFeels over some special guests we hosted in our Training Facility today! The first of a few field trips we have planned with a couple local tech schools this month! Today’s group was a mixed class of sophomores interested in HVAC and Plumbing and they came to check out our training center. They were able to see what our apprentices get to work on and the equipment we have for our field teams to cross train, developed, and experiment with. Our Technical Trainers, Mike and Ryan, provided a full tour to showcase all that #propane does to fuel homes and businesses. Have a group that you want to have visit our Training Facility? A new propane autogas grant program for educational facilities in the US is available for application through March of 2025! Know an automotive school looking to expand and offer their students more? The Propane Autogas Vehicle Inspection: Introduction for Automobile Service Technicians, could be the perfect fit! It gives students an elevated, hands-on learning experience, and more career opportunities after graduation, with a propane-specific curriculum and the chance to outfit the classroom lab with propane related equipment through PERC’s Propane Grant Program. Approved grant recipients will receive $7,500 worth of grant funds, which includes being shipped a propane autogas specific training board that is a $5,000 value to outfit your training facility. The remaining funds will be sent to your school to go towards sending your class instructor to attend a summertime Train the Trainer class on the Propane Autogas Vehicle Inspection: Introduction for Automobile Service Technicians curriculum, and for use in marketing the new incorporation of the curriculum into your school to prospective students.
