Covering 54 countries, this comprehensive report provides key insights into the complexity of agricultural policies worldwide, highlighting innovation's role in driving sustainable productivity 🌱 Key findings: 🔹 Agriculture faces a multitude of challenges, including multiple conflicts and the increased frequency and intensity of extreme weather events resulting from climate change. 🔹 Support for agriculture remains high, but has declined from its peak in 2021. 🔹 The global landscape of support has shifted towards some large emerging economies, as their agricultural sectors have developed and grown. 🔹 The share of agricultural support in producer income and consumer expenditure has mostly declined, with significant differences between countries. 🔹 Policies to promote sustainable productivity growth can align economic and environmental objectives.
