Fifteen years ago, I started Eckert Byrne LLC. I was scared, uncertain, and alone on my journey. I had a vision for the kind of law firm I wanted to create to help people with the difficult exercise of creating an estate plan, and helping them navigate their grief journey.
I am celebrating this 15th anniversary reflecting on all the lessons. I have few regrets, and only wish I made certain decisions faster and was less fearful. I am grateful that I prioritized my family. Now that my son is in college, I have no disappointments over missing his events and milestones which are precious moments and memories of my life as a mom.
Taking the plunge into the unknown law firm business, I was buoyed by the support of countless friends and family who believed in me when I had doubts. I am grateful for the trust of all our clients. I am appreciative of all my team members, past and present, who shared my vision and worked hard and did their best. I am thankful for your trust and support. The next phase is to be written, but I am ready!
