APRIL 2, 2024: ECM IS NOW JMT Johnson, Mirmiran & Thompson, Inc. (JMT) is pleased to announce the transition of ECM, a JMT Division, to JMT, effective today. Following JMT’s acquisition of ECM International, Inc., the firm was known on an interim basis as ECM, A JMT Division, and we’ve been working to become stronger together. The name change to JMT reflects the unity of purpose and outlook that all our employees share. ECM, founded in 1983 in El Paso, TX, quickly established a reputation as one of the preeminent providers of program and construction management services in the Southwest U.S. ECM staff have delivered projects for the public and private sectors with specializations in local government, higher education, highways and roadways, housing, airports, utilities, water/wastewater, stormwater, industrial, and K-12, as well as for state and federal facilities. Founded in 1971, JMT is a 100 percent employee-owned firm with a nationwide staff of 2,200, including more than 225 employees and nine offices in Texas. In addition to program management, construction engineering and inspection, and project controls expertise, JMT provides a full range of multi-disciplined engineering, architectural, environmental, technology, and related services to public agencies and private clients.
