The EDC recently met and toured Global Health Naturals, a biotechnology company headquartered in Sarasota County and led by owners Maday Labrador and Luis Labrador. The company serves international clients and customers in markets including Europe, the Middle East, and Asia with U.S.-made nutraceuticals from herb-derived bioactive compounds, nutrients, and dietary supplements. The company plans to expand its facilities and workforce in Sarasota County while assisting its international partners to expand their reach into the U.S. market. Biotechnology and life sciences remain a key target industry focus area for the EDC of Sarasota County. More information about Global Health Naturals at: https://lnkd.in/e7RNh58f #EconDev #Florida #LifeScience #SarasotaCounty #TargetIndustries 

#EDCInvestor Ringling College of Art and Design recently hosted and collaborated with several professional artists and organizations at their Studio Labs, a film and post-production facility, including Dogs Inc. (formerly Southeastern Guide Dogs). They provide high-pedigree service dogs to people with vision loss and veterans with disabilities at no cost.
