In this new article, Lorraine Radice, author of Leading a Culture of Reading, describes how a schoolwide effort to "brand reading" through a social media campaign (which can be public or on private platforms) can promote literacy both within and outside the school walls. Four steps for a successful campaign include: 👁️ Develop a vision for your campaign 🎨 Design an image to represent the reading brand 🚀 Launch the campaign 📢 Generate content and spread the word Reading for pleasure has sunk to an all-time low.
