THAT'S A WRAP ON EDTECH WEEK. Anyone who’s ever hosted a festival, conference or industry event knows too well the immense amount of hard work and collaboration required to do it well. This year HueBold - Branding Agency partnered with Started’s EdTech Week to help promote New York's biggest #Edtech festival. For 6 months we worked on marketing assets across email, social media, and web. Here are some of the key success metrics: 1. Sold-out event (In record time) 2. Surpassed the ticket registration goal by 147% 3. Boosted Social Media followers by 506% EdTech Week is a 3-day festival hosting 1200 of the biggest names in education technology and top-tier investors. With such an influential audience, event branding and marketing needed to reflect the high caliber of its attendees and speakers. In addition to being the biggest EdTech event on the East Coast, it was also a milestone year, celebrating its 10th anniversary. Founder Ash Kaluarachchi received a ton of positive feedback from sponsors and attendees, praising this year's marketing material and the visual impact of the branding at the events space. Ash shared a few words with us post-event: "As the founder and producer of EdTech Week, I’m incredibly grateful to HueBold for demonstrating how their strategic approach can elevate an event to an extraordinary level. Join us in congratulating OKO Labs (StartEd '22) on winning a $1mm grant through the U.S. Department of Education and Institute of Education Sciences Small Business Innovation Research Program (ED/IES SBIR). OKO makes learning more fun, accessible, rigorous, and equitable through AI-powered small group work. Matt Miller, OKO's CEO, participated in StartEd Immersion in 2022, where we helped their team connect with the vast resources at Google and refined and endorsed their application for grant. Last week’s EDTECH WEEK in NYC was nothing short of inspiring! 🔥 I had the privilege of joining an all-female panel of exited founders to dive into “Leadership in Scaling EdTech Ventures.” Sharing the stage with powerhouses Miriam Altman-Reyes and Sabari Raja (led by the brilliant Larry Berger), it was a reminder of the strides we’re making in EdTech—and how much farther we can go when we support each other. This was my first time being part of an all-women panel of founders who have scaled and exited, and the energy in that room was unforgettable. We missed having Gary Hensley with us but are grateful to the incredible Ash Kaluarachchi and the Started team for creating a space where we can share, learn, and inspire.
