Educa Consulting, partnered with the Hartford Foundation for Public Giving (Foundation) and its community-based advisory group known as the Artists of Color Unite! (AOCU!) to conduct comprehensive, culturally responsive evaluation. What began in the first phase of this work as a collaborative, developmental evaluation, grew toward a more deeply collaborative, co-creational partnership that sought to center the voices of the community as co-evaluators (Community Evaluators - CEs). It has been both our honor and privilege to co-construct a community-focused evaluation and consultation for a just and equitable arts ecosystem. Educa Consulting is equally proud to report out on our work the evaluation community at the 2024 American Evaluation Association, being held in Portland Oregon. Kimolee Cowell and Lael Marie Saez are a prime example of our why!!! Our founder and president, Dr. Kimberly Harris, PhD was so honored and excited for the privilege to present with these amazing artists!!!! Community participation in the evaluation process is a natural artifact of Culturally Responsive and Equitable evaluation practice. At Educa Consulting, Inc. our Community Evaluator Model has been utilized in several of our evaluation projects. Learn more about how we can partner with your organization for culturally responsive evaluation and consultation with our Community Evaluator Approach! #artsevaluation #economicevaluation #art #art #economics #culturallyresponsiveevaluation #community #communityevaluators
