We’re excited to announce that EF Senior Care co-founder Mathew Muratore has been appointed to the new Assisted Living Residences Commission. This recognition comes after his 30+ years of experience in senior living and completing five terms as State Representative for Plymouth’s First District. The Commission, formed under last year’s long-term care legislation signed by Governor Healey, aims to improve care across Massachusetts' 250+ Assisted Living Residences (ALRs), serving over 16,000 residents. It will examine regulations, safety standards, and best practices, with public hearings planned. A report with recommendations (including potential legislation) will be filed by August 1, 2025.
