EIC Scaling Club has released new market highlights for the New Biotech Platforms Market Group! New Biotech Platforms offer the potential to address diseases with significant unmet needs, like solid tumours, which represent more than 90% of adult cancers in the EU. The main challenges in this sector include accelerating the development of new treatments and enabling cheaper, safer and more efficient therapies. Some of the highlights in this report include: ⚪ 12 companies in the New Biotech Platforms sector have collectively raised almost €214M  ⚪ 70 active investors and backing companies have provided funding to these scale-ups ⚪ 9 of 12 companies have women in executive positions ⚪ Average amount raised by company is €17.83M  ⚪ The biggest funding (€44M) has been allocated to Osivax, followed by Asgard Therapeutics (€36M) and Elypta (30M) To view the full highlights report, see link in the comments.
