Cardiovascular disease is the leading cause of death in the United States, but it's not just the men. According to the CDC, over 60 million women in the U.S. are living with some form of heart disease. Women are also much more likely to exhibit symptoms that vary from those telltale signs we always hear about. The Women’s Heart Center is dedicated to providing specialized care for heart issues that affect women most.

A reminder that FY2026 Community Grant Applications are due by 5:00 p.m. (PST) this Friday, February 28. Community-based organizations and non-profits that provide health-related programs and services in Santa Clara County can apply for grant support from the El Camino Healthcare District and El Camino Health for the coming fiscal year.
