  • 𝐄𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐨𝐲𝐞𝐞 𝐒𝐩𝐨𝐭𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭⁣⁣ Dan joined our team during the whirlwind of 2020 and quickly became a valued member. Dependable and hardworking, he keeps our pickups and big trucks in top shape. While he may be quiet, Dan never misses a chance to share a good joke. Outside of work, you’ll find him at the dirt track or spending time with his family—his “why” for showing up every day.

  • Today, Elder Corporation dedicated the Peace Officer Memorial to the Polk County Sheriff's Office. We take pride in building projects that preserve the memory of those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our communities. We believe in building more than just infrastructure; we believe in building community with respect and honor. It’s a privilege to play a role in creating a space where their service and bravery will always be remembered.

  • Rolled out in honor of our heroes. This Veterans Day, our new truck hit the streets as a salute to the brave men and women who protect our freedom. Thank you for your courage, sacrifice, and dedication. We were proud to honor you, past, present, and future. Thank you, veterans! 🇺🇸

  • 𝐄𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐨𝐲𝐞𝐞 𝐒𝐩𝐨𝐭𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐡⁣ Shoutout to Nathan Simon, Miguel Pizarro, Hugo Almanza, and Mike Schnick for leveling up their skills! These four completed an intensive week-long DVS thermoplastics welding course at Wegener Welding in Illinois, diving into material composition, weld design, and failure analysis. After acing their exams and having their welds certified by SKZ (Southern German Plastics Center), they took on and successfully completed the Deicing Apron pipe welding project—3,977 feet of critical welds. We’re proud of their dedication to excellence and their commitment to making this project a success!

  • This week, we celebrate Ed Tierney of Ziegler Cat as he retires after an incredible 41-year career. Throughout his time with Ziegler, Ed has proudly sold Cat equipment to four generations of the Elder family. Fittingly, his final sale was a Cat 950M wheel loader to Jared Elder III, marking a special conclusion to a legacy of service and dedication.

  • Ali started with the company in January of 2019. She has shined in multiple responsibilities around the company and most recently as Sr. Accountant/Payroll. Ali truly is one of the nicest people you will meet, and has had a can do attitude since the day she walked into Elder Corporation. Ali is married to Shane, who is an electrician and has two kids Austin and Reagan. When she isn’t processing payroll or invoicing she is taking Austin to a Trap Shoot competition or with Reagan for a t-ball game. Thanks for all that you do Ali.

  • Jose has been a talented and dependable part of the Elder team since 2014. He’s one of our longest serving laborers and one of the nicest people you’ll ever meet. He’s a master on the Dingo and since he prefers to be called Manny, his crew affectionately refers to as him “Mandingo”. When he’s not giving his all here, he’s a dedicated family man to his wife and 3 children.  Oh, and he throws some legendary Halloween parties. Thanks Mandingo for all you do for Elder!
