The start of a new season calls for a delicious treat made with the freshest seasonal ingredients. Celebrate the official start of the summer with this salad recipe from our experts. Directions: Step 1: Mix together spring mix and baby spinach. Step 2: Plate each salad in this order, dispersing each topping evenly: 👉 Greens: 2 cups (1.5 oz) 👉 Strawberries: 1⁄4 cup 👉 Mango: 1⁄4 cup 👉 Red onion: 2 tbsp 👉 Slivered almonds: 1⁄4 cup 👉 Dressing: 1 fl oz or 2 tbsp Balsamic Vinaigrette Step 1: Combine all ingredients and whisk or shake until blended together. 👉 3⁄4 cup Extra virgin olive oil 1⁄4 cup Balsamic vinegar 👉 1 tbsp Agave 1⁄8 tsp Salt 👉 1⁄4 tsp Pepper Step 2: Store in a closed container in the refrigerator. We’re wishing every dad out there a day filled with joy, tasty meals, and unforgettable moments celebrating around the table. If you’re looking for a delicious treat to grill this evening, consider this Porterhouse Steak recipe from Chef David Weigold. Ingredients 🥬 2 24-ounce Porterhouse Steaks 🥬 2 tablespoons of Olive Oil 🥬 Kosher Salt to taste 🥬 Freshly ground black pepper to taste Instructions 👉 Pull steaks from the refrigerator just before heating grills and allow to come to room temperature. 👉 Heat the grill (gas, charcoal or pellet smoker) to 500 degrees. Brush and oil the grilling grate. 👉 Pat dry the steaks then brush them a light coat of olive oil and season to taste with salt and pepper 👉 Place the steaks on the hot grill and allow to sear for 3 minutes (for medium doneness) 👉 Rotate the steaks 45 degrees and grill another 2 ½ minutes to produce diamond shaped marks 👉 Flip the steak with tongs and repeat steps 4 and 5. 👉 Check the internal temperature of the steak with an instant read thermometer and use the guide below for the desired doneness. 👉 Remove the steaks from the grill and allow them to rest for 5-10 minutes before serving. During the resting period, the steaks will typically increase their internal temperature by 5°F Pro Tip: After removing steaks from the grill, top them with a compound butter during the resting period. #FathersDay #Fathers #Cuisine
