We are proud to be part of the D.C. Marine community, deeply value our partnership with the Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation, and look forward to continuing to support its mission.

    I’m in Boston at the inaugural ClimaTech Live and what an amazing time so far. It’s great to be here talking about solving the climate crisis with many of the brightest minds in sustainability, technology and academia. I was thrilled to talk on stage about sustainability in entertainment and sport with Rishi Jain, Rene Jones and Tanner Watt. We talked about how to influence without preaching; how to make sustainability fun (yes it’s possible) and how to use the world’s most famous people to help effect change. Luckily we all agreed living more sustainability is a journey with no end and perfection is impossible. (That’s the bit where I confessed my single use plastics abuse.) Thank you to everyone who is speaking at ClimaTech Live, all the incredible businesses who have exhibited what they do, the sponsors and all the supporters.     Today, we recognize Loving Day, the anniversary of the historic 1967 Supreme Court decision in Loving v. Virginia, which legalized interracial marriage in the United States. This landmark case not only paved the way for countless love stories but also set a precedent for a more inclusive and equitable society. We are honored to share a personal reflection from Morgan Amelia Miller, Sales Director at Emerald’s NY NOW® & The COUTURE Show brands. As the daughter of a Black father and a white mother who married shortly after the Loving v. Virginia decision, Morgan's story beautifully encapsulates the profound impact of this ruling. Her parents' love story, set against the backdrop of a transitioning country, taught her to embrace her identity and stand tall in the face of ignorance. Their resilience and commitment to social justice have deeply influenced Morgan's own journey in advocating for diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging (DEIB). As we commemorate this significant day, let us carry its lessons in our actions and strive always to reflect the true diversity of our human experience.
