A day as a TEMA District Coordinator looks different in all of our regions, supporting counties and partners across the state. Last week, Middle Region District Coordinators joined several other agencies for an exercise on the General Jackson Showboat. The multi-agency emergency scenario on the Cumberland River, led by the United States Coast Guard, is just another way TEMA supports preparedness efforts with constant collaboration and training to be ready when needed.

Daylight Saving Time ends Nov. 3. Don't forget to "FALL BACK". It's also a good time to check your smoke alarms. If your smoke alarms are 10 years old or older, it's time to replace the alarms. If your batteries are replaceable, the time change each year is a great reminder to do just that! #TimeChange #SmokeAlarms #BePrepared #FallBack
