#CommunityProject 💧 Wodonerzy project in Poland—a fantastic initiative creating a unique learning path dedicated to water conservation and respect for our aquatic ecosystems. 🌱 With the support from the Fundusz Inicjowania Rozwoju and the Employee Foundation of the VKR Group, in collaboration with DOVISTA Polska Sp. z o.o., outdoor games and educational boards have been introduced to inspire respect for water and its vital role in our environment. [ OUR HISTORY ] In 1998 the Foundation's charter enabled the Employee Foundation to support non-profit community projects in the vicinity of VKR Group companies. Over the years, a wide range of projects and initiatives have been supported and they represent great diversity. In 2011, a grant to a volunteer search and rescue service in Tczew, Poland, enabled it to buy rescue motorboats and educate local schoolchildren in first aid and safety at sea. #EmployeeFoundationoftheVKRGroup #LetsWorkItOutTogether

[ Green Areas and Outdoor Life programme ] When we launched our Green Areas and Outdoor Life program, we aimed to connect people with nature and create spaces for recreation and well-being. With the incredible dedication of our employees and partners, this vision has blossomed beyond expectations! To date, we have supported 15 innovative projects across 11 countries, transforming urban and rural areas into green spaces that inspire, energize, and promote peace of mind for all ages. 🌳 Collaborating with local municipalities, organizations, and our VKR Group companies, we create lasting connections to nature through fun and meaningful outdoor spaces. |Green Areas and Outdoor Life| A new cycle path in Partizánske, Slovakia is opened! A place where daily commutes meet daylight, fresh air, and vibrant green nature. The new cycle path not only strengthens Partizánske’s network of green zones and biking routes but also showcases the powerful advantages of daily cycling: it’s environmentally friendly, cost-effective, and promotes health and well-being💙 Thanks to the collaboration between the VELUX factory, the Municipality, and the Employee Foundation of the VKR Group, this path is now open for everyone to enjoy—whether for a commute, a quick outing, or just a breath of fresh air. Congratulations to all who contributed, especially Vladimir Dojcan and Denisa Peticova , for your dedication in bringing this vision to life 👏 👏 walking the extra mile (or riding the extra mile) makes a huge difference to all of us. [ Green Areas & Outdoor Life programme ] We proudly announce the successful launch of the 𝗦𝗼𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗢𝗽𝗲𝗻 𝗔𝗶𝗿 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁, a collaborative effort between the Municipality of Soave and VELUX Italy, funded by the Employee Foundation of the VKR Group. This initiative transforms public spaces into vibrant community areas, featuring an urban forest park, a bike pump track, and a scenic trail leading to Soave Castle. 🚵 Special thanks to Davide Personi from VELUX, whose vision and dedication made this project possible. With contributions from local citizen associations, the project enhances outdoor life in Soave, encouraging education, recreation, and community engagement. Recently, we had the honor of assisting Joline and her family as they faced the challenges of a severe illness. Her diagnosis entails ongoing medical assessments to monitor her health. Joline's father, who works at Svenska Fönster, discovered the financial support options available through the Employee Foundation for families facing unfortunate circumstances.
