Tyler Scriven, Co-Founder & CEO of Saltbox, started his entrepreneurial journey in high school and is now on a mission to level the playing field in e-commerce. 🚀📦 While working at Palantir Technologies, Tyler identified a major gap in logistics: small businesses had access to great digital tools but lacked flexible, scalable logistics solutions. In 2016, after acquiring an e-commerce company, he experienced firsthand the warehousing and fulfillment challenges that many small businesses face. That realization led to Saltbox, a co-warehousing and logistics platform designed to support the “Concrete Class” entrepreneurs working with physical goods. Under Tyler’s leadership, Saltbox has expanded nationwide, offering warehousing, fulfillment services, and a supportive community to help small businesses compete with industry giants. After leaving her finance career, she launched The Lip Bar from her Brooklyn kitchen in 2012, determined to bring vibrant, affordable, and inclusive beauty products to the market. In 2015, Melissa faced a harsh rejection on Shark Tank, where judges dismissed her colorful lipsticks as unmarketable.
