  • Data centers are traditionally seen as large energy consumers, but what if they could become grid assets? Not only is that possible—it’s 100% necessary, as data center energy demand will continue to rise with the growth of AI. By transforming into flexible grid assets, data centers can help prevent blackouts, balance the grid, lower energy prices, integrate more renewables—and even generate new revenue. Enel’s Alvaro Bendrell explains more 👇

  • 📢 Last chance to register for our exclusive live webinar! • Behind every clean energy project, there’s a team of dedicated people making it happen. Our latest renewable energy project in Estonian has not only expanded access to clean power but also strengthened the local economy, created jobs, enhanced community impact, and improved grid reliability. From construction to operation and community engagement, it’s the people behind the project who drive real impact—delivering clean energy while strengthening the places we call home. Thank you to our site team Jeremy Fineberg, Aaron Palmer, Jonathon Parras, Robert Clark and everyone involved in this project. #WeAreEnel

  • Need to purchase clean electricity to hit your carbon emissions reduction targets? Choosing the right power purchase agreement (PPA) is key: ⚡ Physical PPA → The energy buyer takes physical delivery of electricity from a renewable energy project within the same market. 🌍 Virtual PPA → The energy buyer takes the renewable energy certificates (RECs), supporting clean energy projects even if their facilities are spread out. Have smaller loads or scope 3 emissions to reach? 🤝 Renewable Energy Aggregations → Organizations with smaller energy loads can collaborate and combine demand to procure renewable energy at scale. 🔗 Get the full breakdown in our VPPA 101 guide: http://ms.spr.ly/6044UazZ0

  • Drones flying over our solar sites aren't just a trendy technology—they're part of a big shift in how we handle inspections, maintenance, and safety. We’ve started a new drone-in-a-box pilot at our Blue Jay solar plant in Texas. In this pilot, the drone will collect data ranging from minute temperature variations to solar irradiance data to improve our efficiency significantly. The thousands of data points gathered during each flight will be processed and fed to Enel's advanced systems to generate improvement orders almost automatically and without human intervention. We look forward to completing the pilot and expanding this drone technology into our solar fleet. 📷 by: Kenton Dreiling, Enel’s Robotic & Technology Manager

  • Young girls often shy away from STEM education due to self-perception issues. They may love science and math but struggle to see themselves in these male-dominated fields. Showcasing and connecting girls with diverse female role models is crucial. Enel proudly sponsors Energy Superheroes: A Coloring and Activity Book, displaying the careers of real-life energy leaders, including seven remarkable women from Enel: Claudia Garcia, Maggie Teliska, Katherine Isberg, Jordyn Coia, Brooke Otis, Israa Ismail, PE, and Roxana M. 👏 📖 Created with Erin Twamley, this book offers a fresh perspective on energy education, igniting curiosity and inspiring young girls across America through the stories of our very own Enel women energy superheroes. 🦸♀️ ⚡ #STEMyourself #WeAreEnel
