💡🚀⚡European Dynamics' Cross-Operators’ Portal (COP) Service aims to provide a two-fold support system for grid operators. First, it offers comprehensive analytics regarding the installed flexibility and the availability of spatial-temporal flexibility across their grids. Second, it enables operators to announce or post their flexibility needs, which are communicated to FAR users via the OneNet connector. R&D Nester's Substation Load Forecasting Tool offers day-ahead net load forecasts, which can be utilized for nationwide aggregate net load predictions as well as for forecasting at the domestic level. It achieves this by employing a Stacking Ensemble of machine learning models. Fraunhofer's "Federated Learning Approach to an Anomaly Detection Service" uses autoencoders to learn the normal behavior of wind turbines using historical SCADA data. After training the autoencoders, a threshold is established based on the reconstruction error of the normal behavior data. 🤝 The National Technical University of Athens (NTUA) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the IPTO-Independent Power Transmission Operator (IPTO) in the context of the Enershare project, an EU-funded initiative creating a secure, accessible common energy data space for Europe. In their demo titled "Electric Mobility Platform," project partner Emotion illustrates how the EMP facilitates collaboration among DSOs, CPOs, and electric vehicle (EV) users. DSOs monitor the electricity grid and, through accurate forecasting systems, can determine the optimal times and locations for charging electric vehicles to prevent congestion. As a result, CPOs can offer dynamic charging prices that align with DSO requirements.
