  • We are so excited for the Noble County Public Library on being named the 2024 Outstanding Library Award winner by the Indiana Library Federation! NPCL director Sandy Petrie has long served as a steering committee member for Thrive Noble County and truly "walks the walk" when it comes to promoting all 5 Pillars of Thrive. That philosophy is evident in the extraordinary services our libraries provide, including The Bridge maker space, the Library of Things, cultural experiences, and making sure members of the team are supported in their own leadership journeys. Jordyn Laws, teen programmer at NCPL, is a 2023-24 Engage Noble alumna, and this year we welcomed Tabitha Kethcart to the servant leadership journey. Congrats to the NCPL team and thanks for leading by example and serving in Noble County! (Photo courtesy of KPC Media.)

Genuine leaders are uncomfortable with people working at their company without any self-development. In fact, they focus on cultivating their team’s potential and encouraging them to become leaders themselves. The most influential businesses today encourage every employee to take on leadership roles because one of your first responsibilities as a leader is to help every member of your team become a leader. If you are comfortable with people in your organization coming to work every day, doing the same mundane task for 5, 10, or 15 years with no self-development, you are not a leader; you are an average manager at best. What separates the good from the greats is their ability to build a leadership culture that cultivates great leaders throughout their organization. It’s not about maintaining followers; it’s all about cultivating and developing a new generation of great leaders who are inspired and motivated to make a difference in the lives of people they are entrusted to serve. Inspire your team with our Amazon bestseller, “Unlock the Hidden Leader: Become The Leader You Were Destined To Be.” This book has already transformed countless leaders; now it’s your turn.
