🎉 Celebrating 8 Years as a Certified Pharmacy Technician! 🎉 Eight years ago, I passed the Pharmacy Technician Certification Exam (PTCE) after completing a 160-hour course at CCC&TI while working full time as a CNA and part time in a pharmacy. What a journey it has been! From my start as CNA, transitioning into community pharmacy, then long-term care pharmacy, followed by hospital pharmacy, and more recently working as a pharmacy care coordinator with a handful of mental health clinics in my community, to my current role at EnlivenHealth as a Solution Advisor and Subject Matter Expert (SME) for clinical products – pharmacy has truly become home to me. Each of these roles has shaped my career in ways I never could have imagined. The experience I've gained across different pharmacy settings has not only deepened my understanding of the profession but also allowed me to make a meaningful impact on patient care. And that is really what it's all about- the patients! Pharmacies have such a unique opportunity to fill in the gaps of patient care- and I am proud to be part of a company that helps pharmacies figure that out. Today, I am incredibly excited to continue my journey at EnlivenHealth, where I’m able to leverage my pharmacy expertise to collaborate with pharmacies on enhancing workflows, diversifying revenue streams, and helping them navigate the complex world of clinical service reimbursement. What’s especially fulfilling is seeing firsthand how our products would have made my life as a pharmacy technician easier. (How many of my fellow CPhTs had a mountain of sticky notes stuck on every single monitor in their pharmacy? EnlivenHealth products eliminate that need!) EnlivenHealth truly understands the value of having someone with hands-on pharmacy experience in a role like mine, and it’s exciting to be part of a team that is so focused on innovation and improving the overall pharmacy landscape. My coworkers in this new role have been beyond supportive and I feel as though my colleagues and management team have gone out of their way to set me up for success. I’m grateful for every step in my journey!
