Building future innovators through founder-first entrepreneurship education at the Kellogg School of Management

About us

The Entrepreneurship at Kellogg Program is the entrepreneurial hub of the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. Home of the Levy Institute for Entrepreneurial Practice, which houses the one-of-a-kind Levy Inspiration Grants and Levy Inspiration Treks programs, Entrepreneurship at Kellogg also leads the way with the best-in-class Zell Fellows Program. Building a successful business is about more than the idea. Through our groundbreaking programs, Entrepreneurship at Kellogg puts the spotlight on the individual with the belief that there isn’t just one way to be an entrepreneur. Through a combination of tactical, experiential, and curiosity-building experiences, we prepare our students to be the innovators of tomorrow, whether they are founding a business, acquiring and growing and existing one, or funding the next big startup. In the classroom, students can also choose to follow the Entrepreneurship Pathway, with unique curricular tracks for both New Venture and Entrepreneurship Through Acquisition (ETA) for students to pursue. Funded by a generous gift from Larry and Carol Levy, the Levy Inspiration Grant Program allows students who want to be an entrepreneur the opportunity to immerse themselves directly in the market they wish to address. Rather than studying a problem from afar, students can experience it firsthand. Levy Inspiration Treks expand on this inspiration-driven format by taking groups of students on brief, weekend-long trips to various cities to explore a specific entrepreneurial topic with the help of a faculty expert. The Zell Fellows Program is a unique, applied entrepreneurial experience for a select number of MBA candidates interested in starting a new venture or acquiring an existing one. The program offers an accelerator-type experience with mentorship, resources, coaching, impactful learning experiences and a sense of community, both during the experience and after graduation.
