We're proud to share that #Envu is now a member of Business Alliance Against Malaria (BAAM), the Private Sector Constituency to the Board of the RBM Partnership to End Malaria. As part of our commitment to combatting malaria, Pascal Day, our stakeholder relations manager and ESG manager for EMEA and APAC, recently joined an esteemed panel at a World Health Summit event in Berlin titled “Innovation & the Fight Against Malaria.” The panel brought together leaders in global health and private sector innovation, including: 🌟 Janis Davis-Street, Chevron 🌟 Michael Makanga, European & Developing Countries Clinical Trials Partnership 🌟 Thomas Breuer, MD, MSc, GSK 🌟 Rima Shretta, PhD, Johns Hopkins University Moderated by Caroline Desrousseaux (RBM Private Sector Constituency co-chair, Vestergaard), this discussion emphasized the vital role of multisectoral innovation in reducing the malaria burden. With an audience of 80+ leaders from the Global Health Summit, the event spotlighted the ongoing need to preserve and enhance #vectorcontrol interventions. Pascal highlighted key challenges in the malaria community, including the risk of losing interventions in the vector control toolbox and the critical importance of maintaining indoor residual spraying (IRS) for resistance management. “We want to thank Pascal for highlighting some very concrete examples of the ways that innovative delivery methods can increase the efficiency and reach of existing tools,” shared Cassie Dormond from BAAM. “We were approached afterward by representatives from the [Country/Regional Support Partner Committee] CRSPC who said that country program leads want to see more of this type of narrative.” Thank you, Pascal, and to all those who made this critical event a success! As we continue to drive solutions in malaria vector control, we’re honored to contribute to a global dialogue shaping the future of #publichealth innovation🌍

Our EMEA Pest Management teams have had a busy few weeks having critical conversations about protecting the places we live from pests 💪 , while having a bit of fun in the process! It's possible the U.K. team had just a 'small' rat problem at this year’s #PestTech 😉 🐀 . Rats — like the Norway rat — do more than damage buildings and infrastructure, these destructive creatures cause direct and indirect food losses and carry many diseases that can impact the environment in which our families live. PestTech attendees learned about #OpenAreaBaiting solutions using #Harmonix for #Rodents to control the threat.    And in Germany, the #Envu team met with valued customers at #PestProtect to talk about the importance of product rotation to control cockroaches using #Maxforce. Cockroaches do more than contaminate food; these public health pests spread salmonella, gastroenteritis, trigger allergies, asthma and other diseases. As populations expand and cities grow, they become more favorable to pests like rats and cockroaches. With proven chemistries and advanced detection tools, we can help pest management professionals take full control of any pest situation.

Last week, our U.S. Lawn & Landscape team participated in ELEVATE 2024, sponsored by the National Association of Landscape Professionals in Charlotte, NC, U.S. The event hosted nearly 2,400 landscape professionals who want to create stunning, healthy outdoor spaces for their clients’ homes. 🌳🏡    It was a busy two days at the Envu booth. From weeds to labor concerns, attendees mapped the challenges they typically face on a giant map, and they tried their hand at guessing pesky weeds with an interactive spin the wheel game. A few other key highlights:  🌱 Mark Schneid, head of commercial operations for North America, announced the closing of the FMC Professional Solutions acquisition. Adding the FMC Global Specialty Solutions portfolio leads the way for lawn care professionals globally — opening the door for new innovations to solve tough challenges 24/7.    🌱Jesse Benelli, Envu Green Solutions Team member, highlighted the portfolio expansion of new cool-season herbicides, giving professionals even more rotational options to mitigate pesky weeds.     🌱 Shawn Mullen, entomologist and key account manager, spoke about the importance of offering mosquito control service to customers. Using products like Suspend® PolyZone® insecticide or innovations like the In2Care Mosquito Station help communities prevent the bite today so communities can thrive tomorrow.      To be a force for the outdoor space we all crave, we must be a force with nature.  Until next year, ELEVATE!

The #Envu U.S. Range & Pasture team had a great time connecting with hay and forage growers in our “Haytopia” booth at the Sunbelt Ag Expo in Moultrie, Georgia in October! This annual event presented an unparalleled opportunity to demonstrate the power of Rezilon® herbicide, our preemergent that effectively controls tough weeds like Italian ryegrass and crabgrass before they germinate. A huge thank you to the UGA Cooperative Extension team for managing these beautiful Rezilon herbicide-treated #bermudagrass fields all year long so that Sunbelt visitors could get an up-close look at this stellar #cleanhay while watching the equipment demos! For our team, the biggest highlight of events like Sunbelt is getting to spend quality time talking about #hayquality with passionate growers like Jennifer Fitch of OutKast Farm in Rion, South Carolina. Jennifer’s story of developing a shared passion for hay production with her dad, then carrying on his legacy to finally achieve the results they’d always dreamed about, is truly inspiring. Stories like hers fuel our passion for developing innovative solutions that help growers thrive. Read more about Jennifer’s Rezilon herbicide success story in  Hay & Forage Grower here: https://lnkd.in/g4TMP7_4 Invasive weeds and brush can choke out healthy grasses, limiting forage for livestock or harvestable hay. That’s why Envu works alongside hay producers to provide treatment solutions to target threats and help native vegetation prosper. To be a positive force for the land, we must be a force with nature. #SunbeltAgExpo #HayandForage #WeedControl #Herbicide #Agriculture
