We are pleased to announce the release of new sanitary valves for pharmaceutical, personal care, food and other aseptic processes with extremely low flow. The new FDO2 valve with ¼ inch ports and FDO3 with ⅜ inch ports were introduced to serve system designers looking for superior control at lower Cv values. In addition, they have the same connection sizes as process lines on smaller process equipment. In a related improvement, Equilibar now has shortened lead times of 5 to 10 days for many of our standard FDO sanitary valves. Our entire FDO line of sanitary valves is based on Equilibar's revolutionary dome-loaded diaphragm technology, which accommodates wide flow rate ranges, responds instantaneously, and is easily automated. Our newest blog post focuses on Pressure Control for Pyrolysis Processes. Pyrolysis uses high temperatures to cause the chemical decomposition of materials without the presence of oxygen. It is used throughout industry, including in hydrogen production. Equilibar's multi-orifice diaphragm technology is especially well suited to provide pressure control for pyrolysis processes because every component of our regulators can be customized for high temperatures and the multiple orifice design is less susceptible to clogging when mixed phase flows are involved.
