Wrapping up 15 acres of permanent seeding and almost 8,000SY of American Excelsior Company Recyclex TRM at one of our Western Virginia landfill projects. This one has been a great one to work at, always offering us great mountain views.

Getting perimeter controls in on the Elbow Road project in the City of Virginia Beach. Once complete we’ll have installed nearly 20,000 linear feet of type A and B silt fence with almost 6,000 pounds of seeding for temporary soil stabilization and final grassing. Crews are working hard this week, including Saturday to get one of our megaproject sites closed out. Shooting over 20 acres of flat area as well as over 12 acres of LSC Environmental Products, LLC #earthguard on the pond slopes when all said and done. Thanks Colonial Construction Materials, Inc. We were lucky enough today to get these slopes stabilized before the heavy rain. Starting with some HECP II and finishing off with some American Excelsior Company #Recyclex TRM and 18” sediment rolls. 💪🏻

A quick in and out this morning at Ft Story. With the salty sea air, we made sure we threw all of the proper nutrients in the mix to get this former demo site to pop. Great views right across from the Cape Henry Lighthouse.

We have our first Presto Geosystems #geoweb install in the books. The process went smooth, with our crews able to install 11,000 square feet from product assembly to final seeding in two days. We’d like to thank Colonial Construction Materials, Inc. for the guidance with the process from start to finish.

Permanent seeding the Craney Island DMMA site in Portsmouth this week. By the time we are finished up, we will have seeded close to 45 acres of slopes used to contain the dredge spoil from the Elizabeth River. This is an ongoing project for the Army Corps of Engineers that should keep our crews busy. Utilizing two FINN Corporation T330 seeders make this job easy, wrapping up in just four days, thanks to the hard work of our crews.

Even in the brutal heat we are having, one of our silt fence crews still managed to install over 4,000 linear feet of #400EO material in an eight hour day. We couldn’t be more proud of how hard our people work. We also like to thank our customers for continuing to trust us with their E&S needs.

Covering a three acre stockpile today with some LSC Environmental Products, LLC Earthguard product. We used this product to ensure compliance for the inspection Monday morning. The HECP products have really come a long way and we enjoy using them for their ability to meet the same specifications as an EC-2 but with less manpower and quicker coverage.
