Have you ever been drugged? Or sexually assaulted? #SwipeRed for safety.    1 in 2 women have had their drink spiked. For me, it’s happened twice. 9 out of 10 rape victims are female. For me, these experiences are extremely personal and understandably not easily shared. But, for anyone reading this post, just keep in mind that chances are YOU know someone who has been a victim of some form of sexual harassment and you even know someone who was the perpetrator, whether that information is shared with you or not.  It’s also believed only 25% of rape victims actually report it.. And the reasons are endless, from fear, shame, lack of trust in the justice system, and more. I #SwipeRed for everyone’s safety and for the additional safety tools I wish I had.  Luckily, now we have more options.  Joy Hoover is revolutionizing safety with patented tech enabled lipstick and more through her company, Esōes Cosmetics. To learn more, check out Esōes Cosmetics here: And to join the movement, visit https://lnkd.in/e4zrAyds#swipered, a movement to stand with survivors and call out red flags before they become lifelong scars. ” Even within Puberry, we’re providing lessons on personal safety and more, to support youth in learning about their own health, safety, actions, and resources. How many victims do you know…? And, what are you doing about it? #esoescosmetics #puberry #healtheducation #istandwithsurvivors #notoviolence #safety #abuse

I am participating in #SwipeRed campaign because my parents normalized violence from brothers as love. I am participating because they used family honor as an excuse to get violent. I am participating because no one identifies it as gender-based violence. I am participating because it is so normalized and trivialized. If you have faced gender-based violence #GBV, intimate parner violence #IPV, workplace harassment or any kind of harassment based on your gender even once If you are an ally who wants to put an end to GBV If you know someone who has faced GBV... here is your chance to stand with the survivors. #SwipeRed campaign gives you that chance to voice out, to stand against GBV, to stand in solidarity with the survivors. inspired by Sophia Westrich Samantha Katz Thank you Esōes Cosmetics and Joy Hoover for giving my voice a platform. #SwipeRed #swipered

Safety isn’t a privilege, it’s a human right. My #SwipeRed is because over 1 in 3 women (35.6%) and 1 in 4 men (28.5%) in the U.S. have experienced rape, physical violence, and/or stalking by an intimate partner in their lifetime. This is just one statistic. There are so many more. These statistics are people, not numbers. It is each one of us and someone we hold dear. Honored to participate in Esōes Cosmetics #SwipeRed campaign. Thank you Joy Hoover for all you are doing to lead the change we need in our world

Safety isn’t a privilege, it’s a human right. In the US, over half of women and almost 1 in 3 men have experienced sexual violence. Yet, these rates are even higher in the LGBTQ+ and other historically marginalized communities. And yet, far too many stories end in silence and fear. Today, we must amplify these stories and make them impossible to ignore. We have to stop blaming survivors and change the systems that perpetuate these tragedies. We #SwipeRed for every told and untold story. For the people who never got the chance to speak out. This isn’t just a campaign. It’s a movement. And if you are a survivor, ally, or human who gives a sh*t about gender based vi0lence, we call on you to join us and help raise awareness. 🔴 Swipe red lipstick on your right cheek or write #SwipeRed on your mirror 📢 Post & tag Esōes Cosmetics 🔥 Use #SwipeRed and flood the feeds wherever you post. No more silence. No more looking away. No more waiting for change. I’m sharing for change. Will you join in? #RedLipsNotRedFlags #RiseTogether #WomensSafety #endviolence

#SwipeRed for every told & untold story. Personal safety is not a privilege, it's our right. “Studies show that 52% of employees have experienced or witnessed inappropriate, unethical or illegal behaviors at work. This should never be tolerated in the workplace. Further, all of this is massively underreported. We all have a responsibility to help make our world safe. This is a corporate and #business issue…." - Jacki Zehner "It's not for us to have shame - it's for them." #MadamePelicot Esōes Cosmetics & Joy Hoover - thank you for your creativity and for calling us into action with this campaign. #Together #leadership #entrepreneurship #law #money #CultureofMoney *Source for Jacki Zehner's quote will be added to the thread shortly.

  • This. Every word. The biggest red flag isn’t just the abusers, it’s the systems that protect them. We #SwipeRed because silence has never kept us safe. Honored to stand with you in this fight Sophia Westrich ❤️🔥

I'm participating in #SwipeRed because he was a teammate, and no one stopped being friends with him. I'm participating in #SwipeRed because he was a colleague, and others protected him. I'm participating in #SwipeRed because he's a convicted felon—and the President of the United States. I'm participating in #SwipeRed because over 1 in 3 women (35.6%) and 1 in 4 men (28.5%) in the U.S. have experienced rape, physical violence, and/or stalking by an intimate partner in their lifetime. The biggest red flag is that our systems are designed for abusers, harassers, and predators to thrive unscathed—earning accolades, running companies, and representing power. I'm honored to join Esōes Cosmetics' #SwipeRed campaign led by the brilliant Joy Hoover to remind each other that we are not alone, and that together, *we* are powerful. #ItsNeverOkay #YourVoiceMatters #HumanTraffickingAwarenessMonth
