About us
The Esophageal Cancer Awareness Association (ECAA) is dedicated to fighting against Esophageal Cancer, a disease that can be both devastating and aggressive. We understand how difficult it can be for patients, caregivers, survivors, family members, and at-risk patients. That's why we provide easy-to-understand information about Esophageal Cancer (EC), including its diagnosis, staging, treatments, and other relevant factors. We aim to create a supportive community of survivors, patients, and caregivers to offer information and support while raising disease awareness. If you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to let us know. ECAA is a non-profit organization with no salaries or overhead expenses. This means that 100% of your donation goes back to our community. We are a non-profit committed to helping those affected by this disease.

As many of you might be aware, April is Esophageal Cancer Awareness Month. This type of cancer is often misunderstood and faces significant challenges in terms of research and funding. Unfortunately, esophageal cancer research relies heavily on the generosity of private donors, with the Esophageal Cancer Awareness Association (ECAA) working tirelessly to make a difference. What makes ECAA unique is that we have zero salaries or overhead costs, which means that every penny of your tax-deductible donation goes directly to supporting our community and those affected by this disease. We invite you to join us in raising awareness and supporting those impacted by esophageal cancer. Together, we can make a meaningful difference. For more information, please visit ecaware.org. With heartfelt gratitude, Christopher M. Hawley President of ECAA dba EC Aware
