Learn more about Charu's inspiring journey and how she’s impacting healthcare! 🚀 𝗧𝗲𝗹𝗹 𝘂𝘀 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗳 I split my time between NY and SF. I’ve been an AI engineer for 8 years and built in the EdTech, FinTech, AgriTech, CivicTech, and HealthTech spaces. I’ve loved building in the HealthTech space the most, as cancer care is near and dear to me. Before I was an engineer, I taught creative writing and ESL. 𝗧𝗲𝗹𝗹 𝘂𝘀 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗻𝘆 We started as a Dermatology AI company 5 years ago and screened the public for skin cancers. We learned so much about how cancer is treated, triage/biopsy challenges, and how to best serve unmet needs within healthcare. Now, we’re using our computer-aided diagnostics on disease states that are challenging to see with the naked eye, with our primary commercialization effort in bladder cancer care. We’ve teamed up with high cancer volume health systems and brought specialists onto our key leadership positions. We’re excited to fill in these specialty care gaps and serve patients. We’re opening our round in a couple of weeks and looking forward to growth! 𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝗵𝗮𝘀 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵 𝗛𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗺𝗮𝗱𝗲 𝗮𝗻 𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗰𝘁? Mostly, I’ve enjoyed meeting and learning from such a wide range of mission-driven folks.
