Earlier in September, in collaboration with the Deep Transitions Lab and Eu-SPRI Forum, the Transformative Innovation Policy Consortium (TIPC) gathered 150 policymakers, private investors, and academics for Engagement Week in #Barcelona earlier this month. Hosted by the Government of Catalonia, it brought together experts from over 30 countries, centred around the theme ‘Scaling Experimentation: A Catalyst for Transformative System Change’. Through thought-provoking learning workshops 💡, expert panels, insights and experiences from various regions of the world, public and private actors worked side-by-side to explore novel strategies for long-term solutions 🤝 Professor Johan Schot, TIPC co-founder, highlighted, “Public and private actors may operate under different models, but both are committed to creating meaningful change. Business as usual is no longer feasible, and this event helps us harness our strengths to accelerate transformation.” 📢 The launch of the European TIP Hub (TRIP-EuHub), a new initiative connecting research organisations and governments across Europe for innovation and capacity building. 🔗 Read the full article here: https://lnkd.in/e2cbBaah #TIPC #TransformativeInnovation #Collaboration #TRIPEuHub #InnovationPolicy

📣 We are thrilled to announce the official launch of our new European TIP Hub #TRIPEuHUB 🤩 The TRIP-EuHub is a joint initiative between TIPC and the Eu-SPRI Forum, aimed at facilitating new approaches for research, evaluation, deep learning, and capacity building. Through establishing “couples” of research organisations and governments across Europe, various experiments on transformative innovation policy in a local, national, and global context will be conducted. #TRIPEuHUB members include Provincie Utrecht and Utrecht University, Vinnova and SIRI - Swedish platform for System Innovation Research in Interaction, Generalitat de Catalunya and INGENIO (CSIC-UPV), Fraunhofer Institute for Systems and Innovation Research ISI “The European Hub fits within TIPC's evolution. The future is in localising hubs, fostering exchange, and learning globally, while avoiding a Europe-centric focus. TRIP-Eu HUB members need to collaborate with the Transformative Innovation Africa Hub and the HUB Latinoamericano y Caribeño de Innovación Transformativa for mutual learning.” Johan Schot “This Hub provides a valuable space to tackle #TIP, bringing together academics and government officials to foster mutual understanding, trust and open up pathways to future solutions.” Stephanie Daimer "Our goal for Vinnova's Hub membership is to ensure it’s not just about research, but a platform driven by societal needs. It’s about sharing knowledge and using it as an instrument for real-world impact through collaborative projects that apply research in practice." Jenny Sjöblom
