Last month, 20 young Americans studying abroad as part of the Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship Program came together in Brussels. During their study tour, they learned more about the EU’s unique history and the role of its institutions. They also met high-level EU officials and advocates promoting opportunities for young people.   Some highlights: 🔹 A discussion with Eva Gross from the U.S. division of the European External Action Service (EEAS).  🔹 A presentation on EU study opportunities by Georgiana Plesu, International Relations Officer from the European Commission.  🔹 Meeting with Christian Beck, Head of Office for Daniel Freund, European Parliament member.  🔹 Lunch chat with Martina Rota from the European Youth Forum, where participants discussed opportunities for civic participation.   Thank you to our scholars and presenters.
