As an alliance committed to integrating #qualityassurance across #education, #research, and the third mission, EULiST is actively developing a #QA system that bridges these interconnected areas while aligning with the European QA framework. 🌍📚The Forum offered a valuable platform to explore: 👉 Cutting-edge policies and methodologies for QA 👉 The role of QA in addressing technological advancements such as AI 👉 Innovative approaches to integrating academic and non-academic stakeholders in QA processes 💪 By engaging with QA experts, practitioners, and policymakers, our team gained critical insights to strengthen EULiST's QA strategy and advance its mission of fostering impactful learning, pioneering research, and meaningful societal contributions. As we navigate the challenges of ensuring a holistic approach to QA, we remain committed to enhancing collaboration within our alliance and across the broader higher education landscape. Therefore on November 28, 2024, two of our partners decided to acknowledge this #milestone in their own ways and gather diverse members of their #university #communities. 𝐇𝐨𝐰 𝐰𝐞 𝐜𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐚𝐭 𝐍𝐓𝐔𝐀: ✔️ Inspiring opening remarks by NTUA Vice Rectors Thanasis Zisis and S. Papaioannou, emphasizing the importance of international collaboration and the role of Greek universities in European alliances ✔️ Presentations by EULiST scientific coordinators, Katerina Adam and Sotirios Karellas on educational and research opportunities and activities completed during the funded project’s first year ✔️ A presentation by E. Following a warm welcome by the Vice-Rector for Research Jari Hämäläinen, at LUT and an introduction by the #Digital #Learning Team, led by Marjaana Kareinen, the workshop covered 2.5 days of presentations and engaged discussions. The team collaboratively identified specific steps to advance the EULiST Digital Campus over the coming months and years. Key topics covered included: ➡ Digital Campus user stories, by Miia Vanhainen, LUT and Gergerly Rakoczi, TUW ➡ LUT university IT and thoughts on alliances within European Universities, CIO Antti Sirviö, LUT (hybrid presentation) ➡ Technical presentations and discussions focused on the design of the EULiST Course Catalogue Architecture, providing Offerings and integrating #Internships, Stakeholders and other backend #databases, applications and #learning platforms by Zbyněk Křivka, BUT, Nikolaos Mitrou, NTUA and Marwan Al Azar, IMT (hybrid presentations). ➡ As we support the idea of open source in Task 2.1, new advances in platforms Stud.IP/ILIAS and Moodle were discussed by Cornelis Kater, Tomke Fries, and Jan Ahrens, LUH 📌 Finally, the next development steps for the DC and the planned meetings were scheduled.
