🌐 Education Board convenes at Marburg University and welcomes new Chair 📣 The Education Board gathered at Marburg University on January 30-31, 2025, for productive discussions on EUPeace curriculum development and education. Key topics included the European Track concept for Fall 2025 and strategies for joint programmes. Board members also reflected on the first EUPeace Winter School, held at Rauischholzhausen castle. 🔔 During the meeting, Dženana Husremović, Vice-Rector at the University of Sarajevo, was welcomed as the new Chair, succeeding Kati Hannken-Illjes. 🔲On the 13th February at 17:00 CET, we will have the online kick off of our EUPeace - European University project, "Coiling Inclusion: Towards LGBTQIA+ Intersectional teaching at European Universities." The project offers a series of online classes (MOOCS) on different intersectional LGBTQIA+ topics, ranging from migration to literature. The overall purpose of this project is to advance equality and inclusivity in the face of an increasingly hostile global environmental towards the rights of LGBTQIA+ people. 🔲Join us for the online kick - off (in English), in which we will: 1. Briefly present the project. 2. Discuss the survey results about attitudes towards incorporating LGBTQIA+ material into classrooms at our four participating universities: Universidad Pontificia Comillas, The Philipp University of Marburg, West Bohemian University, Università della Calabria. 3.
