US EV charging management and software company WeaveGrid has raised US$28m in funding, led by Woven Capital, Toyota's Growth Fund. UNIVERSAL PLUG & CHARGE IN THE US: The US Joint Office of Energy and Transportation and SAE Industry Technologies Consortia are planning a new universal 'Plug & Charge' framework that will enable an industry-wide seamless, secure #EVcharging experience across all US public stations with testing starting in 2025. EV manufacturer Rivian has announced the planned launch of its first next-generation Rivian Adventure Network charging locations, which allow for non-Rivian EVs to charge alongside the company’s R1T pickup and R1S SUV. Using a new charger design to accommodate any compatible EV in North America, Rivian says these sites are an important milestone in support of electrifying the entire transportation sector. #EVcharging https://lnkd.in/gqswKpjk

2,000 UP FOR GM AND EVGO: General Motors and its EV charging network partner EVgo have now deployed more than 2,000 public fast charging stalls across the US. GM and EVgo’s 2,000th stall is part of a new #EVcharging station in Murrieta, California. Located off Interstate 215 in Riverside County, this charging station offers five 350kW fast chargers capable of serving up to 10 EVs at once. Drivers can enjoy nearby retail shopping, coffee shops, and dining destinations while they charge.  https://lnkd.in/e9zN6b5t

Global business commerce platform WEX has started a nationwide US partnership with EV charger installation provider Qmerit to streamline the installation of EV chargers at the homes of commercial fleet drivers. Under the partnership, Qmerit will provide end-to-end home EV charging installation and integration services drawing on its national network of more than 23,000 electricians who are licensed, insured, and trained on EV charging equipment. #EVcharging https://lnkd.in/enmpZs6u

Integrated energy management solutions provider Landis+Gyr has partnered with UK-based EV charge point operator Believ to deliver accessible #EVcharging solutions that support almost four million Blue Badge holders or disabled drivers who may find inaccessible charging bays a barrier to EV adoption. The partnership centres on a refined version of the INCH Duo AC charger, designed to meet PAS 1899 - the UK’s standard for accessible EV charging - which provides guidelines on the physical environment, placement, information provision and design of charging infrastructure, with the goal to build confidence in the accessibility and inclusivity of EV infrastructure. https://lnkd.in/esVp2UEX
