We know a hot trend when we see one 🔥 Romantasy-themed events on Eventbrite surged 36% in the past year, with a 71% increase in attendance rising up to meet a growing demand for the spiciest trend on #BookTok. To open the portal between this virtual fandom and real-life connections, we hosted an immersive romantasy experience with #1 New York Times bestselling author Scarlett St. Claire this past Tuesday in New York City. The one-night-only Shadow Daddy Speakeasy was filled with live music, custom cocktails, tarot readings, and exclusive access to Scarlett that brought the world of her books to life at ABC Cocina. This is why I’m excited to announce my new role on NIVA’s advisory Board and the expansion of Eventbrite’s partnership with NIVA - National Independent Venue Association.
