Supporting a culture of entrepreneurship in the Greater Grand Forks community.

About us

Mission Statement: To support a culture of entrepreneurship in the Greater Grand Forks community. Organization Overview: Evolve Grand Forks challenges the belief that you must quit your job and max out your credit cards to follow your entrepreneurial dream. We do this by providing inspiration and support for entrepreneurs. (both for-profit and non-profit), regardless of where they are in their journey. The value we deliver to the community is four-fold: 1. Building networks 2. Providing broad entrepreneur-based education and awareness programming 3. Educating the community by telling stories of entrepreneurship successes (and failures) and leading local conversations about the importance of supporting for the entrepreneurial community 4. Operating a home (The 701 Coworking Space) that provides space for a much-needed support network and lowers start-up overhead.

𝐃𝐎𝐍'𝐓 𝐅𝐎𝐑𝐆𝐄𝐓! UpNext's UND Spotlight is 𝐓𝐎𝐌𝐎𝐑𝐑𝐎𝐖 𝐌𝐎𝐑𝐍𝐈𝐍𝐆! Join us at 8am at the 701 Coworking Space in downtown Grand Forks to hear from three entrepreneurs with ties to UND. UND President Andrew Armacost will host the panel, which will feature Eric Murphy, Utkarsh Gupta, and Clarkson Sande. Eric Murphy, UND Faculty Member: A native of Bucyrus, Ohio, Eric lived in a wide variety of communities ranging from San Marcos, CA to Gaithersburg, MD. He chose to relocate to Grand Forks to join UND SMHS in the summer of 2000. He is a lipid neurochemist who studies fatty acid metabolism in the brain. But a lifelong problem with cramping led to inventing Krampade to solve that problem. Krampade makes advanced sports nutrition products for the athlete and non-athlete focused on enhanced dietary potassium intake. Murphy also serve as a legislator for Dist. 43. Utkarsh Gupta, UND Student: Utkarsh is a cognitive neuroscience postdoc research fellow at the University of North Dakota. He is also the founder of Neurogether Ventures LLC, a single batch venture studio registered in the state of North Dakota, and it is a certified primary sector business. The aim of the venture studio is to build and support portfolio startups to create services and products for senior healthcare backed by neuroscientific innovations. His entrepreneurial and research interests focus on identifying strategies to enhance memory and learning. His approach includes the use of virtual reality, neuro-electrophysiology, neuromodulation, and potential brain computer interface applications. Clarkson Sande, UND Student: Clarkson started Genius Technology Systems in 2021. Shortly after starting the business, he became a private pilot, and is now finishing his instrument rating. He has studied business entrepreneurship for a brief time at UND, and looks forward to continuing to grow GTS and look forward to where the future will take the business. #GFisCooler
