CEO German Bionic | Wearable Robotic Tools to Empower Humans

France’s €109 Billion AI Investment: A Human-Centric Approach to Innovation At the AI Action Summit in Paris, Emmanuel Macron announced a €109 billion investment in #AI and #robotics, reinforcing a distinctly European vision: putting humans at the center of technological progress. This aligns closely with #Industry5.0, which emphasizes collaboration between humans and machines to create sustainable, people-focused solutions. In his interview with France 2, Macron highlighted companies like Wandercraft, a medical #exoskeleton developer, as examples of how AI and robotics can enhance mobility and transform lives. This focus on human augmentation—whether in healthcare, industry, or beyond—reflects Europe’s strength in innovation that serves society. At the same time, this investment is crucial for keeping Europe competitive. While the region is home to many promising AI #startups, there’s a real risk of talent and companies relocating to the U.S., where initiatives like the $500 billion Stargate Project (backed by OpenAI and SoftBank) are accelerating AI infrastructure development. Europe has the resources, talent, and creativity—but it needs sustained political will to match global competitors. This initiative is a step in the right direction, demonstrating that Europe can compete globally by leveraging its unique strengths: a human-first approach, a commitment to sustainability, and the ability to merge AI and robotics in innovative ways. • Having lived through a digital revolution, I believe that it is time for humanity to go through a physical one next. I had the privilege of being on the Humotech technology podcast and having a simple conversation about the ups and downs of #exoskeleton technology. Wishing for a better tomorrow doesn't make it so; we have a long path ahead of us before these inventions are on the hands (and legs) of those who can benefit from using them the most...

Specialista esoscheletri industriali SUITX by Ottobock, Japet Medical

    I share research & insights on biomechanics, exoskeletons & wearable tech | Engineering Professor @VanderbiltU | Co-Founder & Chief Scientist @HeroWearExo

✍🏽 Since starting a science/tech blog (daily posts on LinkedIn), I've written 631 posts comprising 117,830 words. It's the equivalent of 235 single-spaced pages of content over the last 2 years. It's a lot to comb through, so... 📑 I recently added Collections of posts to the site to make it easier to find some commonly discussed exo topics. 💡 Each Collection is a handful of posts related to frequently asked questions (FAQ) about #exoskeletons and #exosuits. 🎯 Collections provide simple explanations, summaries of lab and field research, introductions, insights, lessons, and advice based on my 18 years of R&D experience with #biomechanics, #ergonomics, and #wearabletech. ✅ I started with 8 Collections addressing: 1. Exos 101 2. Rigid vs. Soft Exos 3. Back Exos vs. Back Belts 4. Powered vs. Passive Exos 5. Exo Myths and Misconceptions 6. Exo Effects on Spine Compression 7. Longitudinal Data on Exos 8. Biomechanics of Exos 🚀 But 10 FAQs feels like such a nice round number, so I'd like to add a couple more Collections. 🤨 What other FAQs should have their own Collections on my blog? Drop your suggestions in the comments, or go peruse the current Collections on my TypeShare site below.

👩⚕️ Public Health Pro | 🦾 Safety Tech Consultant | 🐐 Small Farmer

Have you seen the new article by Alfred Poor, “Why Farmers Don’t Use Exoskeletons,” which delves into the challenges and opportunities surrounding the use of exoskeletons in agriculture. This article shares a few of the reasons why this proven technology has not yet seen widespread adoption among the agricultural industry. Having the opportunity to use exoskeletons on my own small farm, I enjoyed sharing my firsthand experiences with Alfred. From enhancing safety to increasing efficiency, the benefits are clear, though the path to widespread adoption is still being paved. It was also a pleasure to see insights from Karl Zelik in the article, further enriching the discussion about the potential benefits of exoskeletons. If you’re interested in exploring how exoskeletons can benefit your organization, connect with us at Evolving Innovation. Matthew and I are here to help you determine if exoskeletons are the right fit for your organization. Link to the article: https://lnkd.in/gNShuz-t

How can robotic exoskeletons shape the future of education and assistive technology? Robotic arm exoskeletons are revolutionizing rehabilitation, assistive devices, and labor-intensive tasks, yet a lack of open-source educational platforms limits their accessibility in classrooms. To address this deficiency, mohammed al-tashi, Bengt Lennartson, Max J. Ortiz Catalán & Fabian Just introduce an open-source educational exoskeleton platform aimed at Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) education. This platform represents an enhancement of the commercial EduExo Pro by Auxivo AG, tailored to serve as an educational resource for control engineering and biomedical engineering courses. Empowering the next generation of innovators starts in the classroom!
