Thank you, Rich Kenny, for having me and for your leadership and service—not just as an ex-flight nurse extraordinaire, but as someone dedicated to elevating nursing for the next generation. I love your family history in drag racing and as a super fan for F1 and a remarkable stint in prototype racing I am committed to bringing the racing ethos of innovation and marginal gains to surgical healthcare!

"So with the canvas of how do you make the surgery better? Well the number one easiest way to make a surgeon better is not to focus on the surgeon, but to focus on the team behind surgeon." Our CEO Robert Masson, MD talking about the concept behind eXeX technology on his recent interview with Mohamed Draz and the Brain, Spine & Beyond podcast. I am privileged to announce that I will be delivering a Keynote at the The Percivall Pott Orthopaedic Rotation, 52nd Annual Scientific Meeting at the end of the year. This will be another opportunity to engage yet another generation of brilliant UK orthopedic surgeons, having given the Limitless Spine Surgery keynote in 2018, the 45th Annual Percivall Pott Scientific Meeting. I stood before the William Hogarth's painting the Pool of Bethesda, which is located on the Hogarth Stair at St. Bartholomew's Hospital in London. Hogarth painted the canvases in 1736. Lean, efficient, predictive and data inspired surgery will be the canvas as we explore the transcendence into artificial intelligence, digital twins of surgery and spatial computing. “There is no finish line” Professor Dr. Albert Rhoton eXeX Masson Spine Institute - Excellence in Spinal Surgery #spine #orthopedics #neurosurgery #onespine #surgery #artificialintelligence #spatialcomputing #predictivesurgery #teams #efficiency #logistics #uk #London #stbarts

I recently came across this CNBC article discussing the state of MR/spatial computing and the search for “killer apps” one year into this technology’s mainstream rollout. While much of the coverage focuses on the visual “wow” factor, I believe we’re missing a critical point: real problem-solving in industry-specific, blue-collar applications. The AVP is one of several layers of computing devices that finds itself in our Surgical Performance System offered by eXeX. It offers immediate familiarity to the Apple UI/UX legacy and brilliant visual and communication capabilities. These devices, often positioned as consumer products, have the potential to transform a broad mixed consumer/enterprise use case as well—especially when it comes to onboard/training for frontline workers, remote collaboration, and the creation of robust digital twins to simulate and optimize workflows. Rather than chasing purely visual features, we should be designing solutions that address real-world challenges: Streamlined training and onboarding for new workers in manufacturing, healthcare, or construction. Immersive simulation and troubleshooting for critical systems, cutting down on downtime and risk. Detailed digital twinning, enabling better planning, visualization, and predictive maintenance. The future of MR/spatial computing isn’t just about augmenting our surroundings for fun or tech sake; it’s about powering the next generation of industrial and operational efficiencies, while simultaneously offering consumer-friendly experiences and accelerating performance in day to day tasks. The key is to find that balance—embracing the “visual wow” without forgetting the day-to-day problems that this technology can solve in the workplace and at home. I get to participate in both tech conferences and healthcare conferences, and I urge the technology sector to expand their perspective on problems that all tech can solve. The goal is to add value where solutions are lacking, not to find a new way to do the same thing with advanced tech. #MR #SpatialComputing #DigitalTwins #IndustrialInnovation #avp #applevisionpro #WorkforceTraining #AugmentedReality #MixedReality #FutureOfWork #healthcare #surgery

This is exactly where our AI Surgical Optimization Platform shines: "There was a way everything had to be done, from start to finish. I have heard neurosurgeons can be mean sometimes during procedures, but sometimes there is a good reason for it. A little mistake, and you have damaged a person's brain. One thing I learnt is that every surgeon has their preferences—scalpel placement, suture type, and instrument order. There is a way they want to tie their knots, a posture they want their assistant to take during the process, how they want the lights placed, the height of the bed, and almost every single detail."

How Augmented Reality is Transforming Surgery I once assisted a neurosurgeon with a decompressive craniectomy with cranioplasty. There was a way everything had to be done, from start to finish. I have heard neurosurgeons can be mean sometimes during procedures, but sometimes there is a good reason for it. A little mistake, and you have damaged a person's brain. One thing I learnt is that every surgeon has their preferences—scalpel placement, suture type, and instrument order. There is a way they want to tie their knots, a posture they want their assistant to take during the process, how they want the lights placed, the height of the bed, and almost every single detail. Woe betide you if you try to rearrange or disrupt their arrangement!! But in the high-stakes environment of an operating room, even small inefficiencies can lead to delays, waste, and distractions. - Enter ExperienceX (eXeX). This MedTech innovation creates a virtual map of the OR, allowing surgical assistants to see exactly where every tool should be—reducing setup errors and improving workflow. Why This Matters: ✅ Less time scrambling, more time operating ✅ Fewer mistakes, better outcomes ✅ Improved teamwork & efficiency Robert Masson, MD, CEO of EXeX, puts it best: "It doesn’t matter how good the surgeon is; it’s controlled chaos. There’s massive room for organizational simplicity." 💡 The Takeaway for MedTech Leaders: Innovation isn’t just about new devices—it’s about solving real-world workflow problems. The best MedTech storytelling doesn’t focus on the tech alone, but on the transformation it brings to healthcare. 🔍 How is your MedTech brand using storytelling to highlight impact over features?
