About us
FALCON’s ambition is to enhance the design capabilities of the European industrial aircraft sector, focusing on fluid-structure interaction (FSI) phenomena to improve the aerodynamic performances of aircraft (unsteady loads). FALCON assembles a unique interdisciplinary environment of fifteen public and private institutions and their affiliated entities (from renowned research institutions to SMEs and aircraft high-tier suppliers and integrators) to cover all the required scientific and know-how expertise. Building upon three industrial testcases and tight links with key European partnerships such as Clean Aviation, FALCON delineates a high-impact/low-risk proposal that will significantly contribute to the digital transformation of the European aircraft supply chain. FALCON has started in January 2024 for a duration of 4 years and is coordinated by the Université d'Aix-Marseille, France. The project has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon Europe research and innovation programme under grant agreement No 101138305. ✈️ Meet our Team! ✨ We are thrilled to introduce to you all our European Project Manager, Pauline Roger! Pauline has already worked as Project Manager of several European Projects, including two Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions, that train PhD students at the interface between science and soft skills and supporting the international mobility of researchers 🏫 She has also worked for an Innovation Action, that aims to island decarbonization and promoting decentralized and sustainable energy systems 🍃 She has a Master’s degree in European studies, with specialisation in European policies and programmes, from the Aix-Marseille Université. Pauline is responsible for coordinating the exchanges within the FALCON consortium and facilitating the consortium’s overall management in conformity with the Grant Agreement and the Consortium Agreement. These responsibilities include a wide set of tasks related to the organisational, administrative and financial management of the project. She is based at the Laboratoire M2P2 (Mécanique, modélisation et procédés propres) in Marseille (France).
