Today, we honor the memory of Philadelphia Police Sergeant Timothy Simpson, who tragically lost his life in the line of duty on November 17, 2008. His dedication, bravery, and commitment to his community will never be forgotten. We were proud to support the Special Olympics Pennsylvania Fall Fest Law Enforcement Torch Run last Friday! After an opening ceremony at the Navy Yard, the torch was carried by over a dozen law enforcement agencies over the course of its 26-mile journey to Villanova University, where the world’s largest student-run Special Olympics competition took place over the weekend. Congrats to the 1,200+ athletes who competed and the amazing student volunteers at Villanova who made it all happen - including our very own summer intern Earl Kelly!
