  • As 2024 comes to a close, we want to take a moment to reflect on many of the accomplishments that we achieved as a result of our team's resilience, commitment, and collaboration. Sal Mauceri, President, FGX International shared a special message:    "The challenges of the past year have tested us, but they’ve also revealed the strength and determination of our team. We've tackled every obstacle with creativity, commitment, and with a drive to succeed together.   I am so proud of the many milestones we've achieved this past year. We formalized and launched a very exciting partnership; Wicked x Foster Grant, a collaboration with the recent movie release that is fast becoming a cultural phenomenon.    We have made significant progress in setting ourselves up for future growth as we grow our current customers and markets by winning with the consumer and by expanding in new markets and channels with the strength of our portfolio, brands and best in class in-store solutions. We launched an innovative new display concept in EMEA which is showing great early results.    These achievements wouldn’t have been possible without the hard work and passion each one of you brings to the table every day.   As we close out the year, I’m grateful for each of you.   • This year, FGX International and #FosterGrant focused on designing collections that answered the needs and wants of our consumers, creating the best value-focused sunglasses, reading glasses, and optical products. Matthew Coon, SVP Product Design & Development championed a team that embraced creativity, transparency, and collaboration. “Our team loves to work closely and share ideas and important considerations as we move the product, packaging, and displays through the key steps in the process.”   As a leader, Matthew is driven to define and guide team members with thoughtful planning and goal-setting. Fostering strong connections through open conversations, he aims to create opportunities for cross-functional teams to explore new ideas and solutions with excitement and energy.   Matthew shares his favorite piece of advice:   “Throughout my career, I have always remembered the quote from Sam Walton – 'There is only one boss: the customer.' Keeping a constant focus on the consumer allows me to keep moving in the right direction." #WeAreFGX

  • In celebration of the movie Wicked and the launch of our Wicked x Foster Grant collection, we invited employees in Smithfield, RI and NYC to spend "One Short Day in Emerald City". Across both events, over 150 #EssilorLuxottica colleagues were invited to experience the collection first-hand, try on the custom-designed frames, and celebrate the FGX teams who played a role in bringing it all to life.     The Wicked x Foster Grant collection is available at fostergrant.com and Amazon for a limited time. #WickedMovie #WickedxFosterGrant #WeAreFGX
