We released our first monthly newsletter last week with some exciting updates on our business. We are so happy to announce our newest retail partner, Fetch, in Phoenix, AZ! The team at Fetch is obsessed with two things- pet health, and customer service. We're super excited about an event coming up in San Francisco called Bark at the Park hosted by The Guardsmen on Saturday August 17th, 2024, at the Main Parade Lawn in The Presidio ✨✨ https://lnkd.in/g5x5WWp6 Some of you may be wondering, who are the Guardsmen? 🤔 The Guardsmen is a non-profit organization that makes a life-changing difference in the lives of at-risk youth by raising funds for scholarships, campership, and other youth programs. Each year, The Guardsmen send more than 1,500 youth from disadvantaged backgrounds to outdoor programs. 🌲🏕️For many campership recipients, it is their first time in the wilderness. Post-camp, these youth show dramatic improvement in leadership, communication skills, and self-confidence. They also fund a scholarship program for disadvantaged youth. 👨🎓🧑🎓 So we are so happy we can help support this mission! 🙌 There will be 6 lucky winners who win the whole Freaky Family, and I will have a booth where you can come say hi and pick up some toys. We're very excited to announce our first retail partner, AZ Dog Sports in Phoenix! AZ Dog Sports is a local, woman-owned business where dogs and their owners can go for obedience, agility, service dog training, and more. All of their trainers are superb and teach using the positive reinforcement method. Fika loves this place 😊

We accepted the challenge of giving a super chewer our Freaky Friends! It's important for us to see how different types of dogs interact with our toys, and it's even more important for us to share with our customers so they know what to expect. "How long do these toys last?" is always the first question I get, and the answer is it depends! Fika has the same Freaky Friends we received over 3 months ago with only two torn off appendages. But a super chewer is going to rip those things off much faster. You know your dog and their play style best. So consider this when you decide if these are the right toys for them. And for some, watching their dog rip the toy to bits is part of the fun! And always remember to supervise your dog during playtime as ingested plastic stuffing or squeakers can cause intestinal blockages or choking.
